At this point who knows. I have 42 games under my belt currently, that includes boxes if I can get them, plus monthly subs if available as I hate f2p. Sometimes as many as 3 games subbed at a time, plus games like eq2 or lotro I've put a lot of money into their cash shops. I can't even imagine my money spent at this point after 10 nonstop years of this. Haha. But it's my only major hobby just yet so... I don't feel too awful about it. :]

I think it'd be a fairly close call betwen FFXI and EVE.
FFXI - A little short of 7 years subs. ~£850 + ~£100 on expansions totals nearly a grand
EVE - Probably around £400 for 3-4 years subs. The only reason its not higher is cos eve is unique in that you can pay for the subs with the in game currencies with it's PLEX which for a quite a long time was the only reason my character stayed rolling.
