Reported to be true. It doesn’t look at the strength of any said premade.

"In one team"? And how pray tell are they achieving that? Because Grand Companies haven't been a filter for matchmaking in a LONG time, you can be Flames and end up on Maelstrom all the same.
If you mean queue syncing and perhaps language filter, that's a different issue altogether (assuming they still work).
Syn issue still work even in rank CC if time correctly since crystal conflict came to be. People still abuse system at a time of day. Same abuse happen with gc war when Onsal was new and well everyone join flames to get the mount with long ques. I'm pretty sure there is still win trade in CC its not has bad when it came out. I rather they remove battle high all together be less of a pain with damage output, and probably do something the amount of infinity crowed control you can do to someone in frontline.
So correct me if I'm wrong, but it seems to me that the only people interested in breaking up the players, are the one's who want the rewards, mounts/titles/gear. Players who like pvp are obviously going to want to party together in a mode they enjoy over players who "just want to get it over with".
I think it's more nuanced than that. I play PvP/FL because I enjoy it, but would dislike playing in a premade. (For one thing, it tends to reduce everyone else to the role of NPCs, in which case I might as well be doing PvE.)
I've always been troubled by the presence of highly-coordinated premades that boast 70% win-rates, since with one such beast on the field the match result is heavily-skewed before it even begins, and the matches tend to be lopsided and dull.
Olivia and others have noted that those win-rates are only possible because many FL players are in the "let's get it over with" camp, thus provide no resistance (or actively help) the dominance of such premades.
One solution to this problem is to ban premades. I've been mostly persuaded this is undesirable, even though I don't personally understand why people would form one to shoot fish in a barrel.
Thus we're left with improving the quality of play in FL by reducing the rewards, or some form of matchmaking that siphons off the "don't care" brigade into their own pool where they can all hide behind rocks or whatever.
The game would be a lot worse if they removed the ability to queue in as a premade. Even if it prevents people from pub stomping entire lobbies, you also remove the ability for anyone who just wants to play with any of their friends at all. Which I can say with absolute confidence that the latter is a far more numerous demographic than the former. It's a very silly idea to say that we shouldn't allow people the ability to play with their friends in a multiplayer game.
Meh. If premades are gone, the next thing people are going to complain is realizing that decent/average players can understand callouts to coordinate, so they will call for chatbox function removal or bring in CC’s quick chat commands next lol.
Maybe even ask for waymark/marker removal too, because god forbid people try to increase their chance to win legitimately…. Or you know, just wanting to have some fun with their friends.
