Where are the Hrothgar and Viera hats???

There's also this thread I made months ago, discussing the same thing.
And there's countless Viera ones and male hroth ones before these two, too.
This has been an issue for 5+ years
And sadly, I don't think it'll be fixed anytime soon

This is embarrassing, but I reckon its lack of resources and competence.

A streamer asked Yoshi-P why can't they improve the friendlist or make it smooth like in WoW, the answer was and I quote: "We don't have the same big resources as blizzard."

It's okay! The Viera and Hrothgar with get special full head covering "hats" in the form of Mario and Luigi mascot heads to make up for not being able to wear the actual hats.

There's probably a bit of truth to this. Blizzard only has a few active games that they work on, so all that money those games make can go back into them.

SE on the other hand produces many games, and unfortunately many of these games flop and fail to break even and many of their mobile games end up producing little revenue (usually due to atrocious monetization that drives most players away immediately) and shut down in less than a year. That means the funding needs to come from somewhere else, and that's typically from one of their few profitable games: FF14.

t's been over 5 years. If they were going to change it, they would've by now. Move on, accept it, and if it you can't, fantasia, mod, or quit. It's just sad at this point, like watching someone yell at a boulder to move out of the way every day for 5 years.

Edit: And no, I'm not defending it. It's stupid and they should've changed it by now. But they haven't, and yelling at them for 5 years hasn't changed their mind. You can yell another 5 it it still won't change anything. Seek alternatives.
