The Anniversary events were in 2023, not this year. The game released in 2013. The Rising event's 10th anniversary was 2023. That was the year they released two Orchestrion sheets and the Rising Phoenix mount.

I really enjoyed the event, there was much more to it than previous events and it has a high level of quality.
Would I love to have a new holiday dress? Of course but I know that can’t happen all the time but I can tell they really tried this time and I liked it.
It’s a place where they can build future holiday events so it’s worth it.
minion's a reskin of an existing one too, lmao. not even a minion expert or whatever, but this is obviously just the ronka dude with a new coat of paint. https://ffxivcollect.com/minions/337
what a shame, considering their halloween outfit was actually pretty nice. guess whoever made that possible was locked in a closet or something, 'cause we're right back to business as usual.
subscription is just a season pass with early access to mogstation items
I dont want any of those
i want an EVENT
like wow/gw2
Give us something to interact with each year, like a santa claus moogle dungeon boss, a christmas tree where you get fun toys from on christmas day, reindeer racing in the gold saucer, anything?
not a dumb story quest we finish in 5 minutes and never think about again
Business as usual, in the sense that it's always been like this. Each year will generally have a few events that stand out as being decently rewarding, while others in that same year end up being a disappointment.
Basically this. It'd be nice to have a reason to interact with the event outside of the short story quests. For example, they have a fate/gate/fete system that they could've dropped in that starlight stalls area.
MY interaction in WoW winter veil 2024 (2023-2022-2021.... 2015... 2012...) has been shorter than 5 minutes.

Ah right, I could start from a different city, this way it would have lasted more, I had to travel.
