Honestly. I've heard none of that. Maybe its because I only tend to really read or pay attention to people who talk about the game in a realistic sense.
The game is never going to be WoW status in popularity, but if were lucky, it'll have a steady 100k subs.

In 2.0;

Anything that has ever be wrong with the current game will be fixed. Every dream, wish, and hope is being granted in 2.0.

2.0 will be better than 2.0

I heard that FFXIV was going to be just like FFXI when it was in its prime plus better graphics.
