Also having the same issue with my ps4 DualShock controller, hope it gets addressed and resolved soon.
Same problem here, same controller I have used for years, suddenly not working :(
same here.. D:
anyone find a solution for it?
I just logged and and I'm having the same issue. Win 11 23H2, PlayStation DualShock 4 Controller. Hopefully they get this fixed soon
My XBOX Series controller wasn't being recognized through bluetooth but it works fine using the gen 1 XBOX One wireless controller adapter in Windows 11.
I am experiencing the same thing since patch 7.1
My ps4 dualshock controller is no longer recognized by 14 unless I hardline it in via micro-USB. Without it being plugged in it just says 'Device not Located' in Sys Config and Gamepad Settings.
I've attempted multiple resets of PC, controller, and Game. No luck yet. Controller still works for other games, seems only ff14 was affected.
Same issues for me, WIN 10 and a Dualshock 4. Bluetooth connection just doesn't work at all anymore and cable keeps disconnecting/audio channels swap to it.
PS5 controller seems to work as intended, so I assume that's where things went wrong? Maybe PS5 ones were tested and they didn't check PS4 =/ ?
Hoping for a fix soon.
Same for me. Not using Steam. It worked just fine the day before patch. I am using Dualshock wireless via bluetooth adaptor. Had to go with DS4 (I've never used it before), but it started disconnecting when I plug my microphone, so I am not able to use mic and play at the same time. Again, everything worked just fine before patch.
For now:
- open steam app
- go in "GAME" and "add a not-steam game"
- choose FFXIV
- launch FFXIV from the steam app
the DS4 controller will be launched as a x360, but working as intended.
(P.S. I take as granted you have steam and you have the controller already set with steam)
