Give healers dps

Same. The number of Expert and Alliance roulettes I've done where I've needed to GCD heals because, unlike the forums, there's just been so many mistakes that using just an oGCD (example Celestial Intersection) wouldn't heal enough before the next mistake happened and death happens instead

I mean, when there's a good WAR there's even less healing but that's just a different can of worms.

But yes, having more damage buttons would be nice. ESPECIALLY for the solo scenario fights. Having to just press 2, 1,1,1,1,1,2,1,1,1, over again is really not engaging game play. I actually got so bored during one of the DT fights I intentionally threw it to go to Very Easy mode just to get thru it faster.

Yes, but if doing damage it makes dealing the damage feel different which is also valid.

As a career healer in mmos since EverQuest, I want to heal, not dps.

I love my WHM since 2.0 but maybe I should try out this new, up and coming raid healer job called WAR, I hear it’s really good.

They could remove half the healing spells and add dps skills instead.

You know when healers had cleric stance and more dps tools the community cried and complained it was too hard to do both.....funny how the consequences and sins of our fathers work. Moral of the story. Gamers really don't know what they want, they think they want it,but they really don't.

This is why i play tank you can play healer with dps options!

Honestly, I have to ask, does it matter if the healer makes a mistake and someone dies? There's no permadeath, or even any penalty to dying at all except wasted time.

As a SGE main and healer since Everquest, I'd prefer to actually need to heal, which is why I like horror-runs with 5 or 8 stack tanks who don't know how to roll their mits properly and run in circles round the boss aiming cleaves at everyone.

DPS is usually just a filler for down time. The trouble is, in most smooth runs with skilled tanks, the whole game is pretty much dosis downtime.

I feel like a broken record saying this.

We need both: more to heal so that healers are an actual needed part of the team and can't be replaced with an extra tank and Red Mage, and extra DPS buttons for the inevitable downtime that gearing and getting good opens up.
