Please remove Rival Wings from the Wondrous Trail

Probably because of Rival Wings being a mode that doesn't involve the three grand companies but just two teams. But speaking of scheduled frontline maps can't we just swap out The Borderland Ruins (Secure) for Rival Wings? It's been disabled since 6.4.

Nah, only 1 of them is impossible.

The other one requires a literal frame-perfect trick.

Never played rival wings, because it never opened up for me. So yeah...either bring it into roulette or remove it from WT.

Bad enough getting strangled by the RNG of getting lines, or how Second Chances don't come easily even on Dynamis, but I'll be stuck redoing the oldest content anyway because there comes a hard cut-off point of what I can actually do no matter what I've unlocked.

Every single 70 dungeon and extreme except one (Susano but you only need 2) can be soloed. Bosses drop in 1-2 mins. Can’t solo? Use PF instead of complaining without even trying once and find one or two ppl, you don’t need a full group.

Oh and please do NOT complain about using the esc key and mashing buttons. As said above you haven’t touched MSQ in 3 months: that’s an awfully long cutscene…

Btw you can’t have a journal full of EW and DT cutscenes of you haven’t finished those expansions first so idk why you bring that up. Besides, there are no DT extremes in WT and you can get enough seals in a lvl 100 without even touching EW and DT - DT is max 2 seals only btw :a lvl 100 dungeon and a possibility only of a lvl 91-100.

Instead of complaining about imaginary BS, just play the game as intended. You only have yourself to blame.

Want to get more seals? Play the game. WT requires minimal effort (btw all I needed this week to get it was lvl <= 60 duties that were all easily soloable)

No need to pester anyone but if you need to use PF, ppl are happy to help. Use the tools that the game provides instead of complaining. At lvl 100 you are awfully OP for lvl 70 content.

That’s impossible. At lvl 100, there’s always:
- 4 regular dungeons: a lvl 1-60 dungeon + 1 lvl 61-80 + 1x81-99 and one lvl 100;
- 2 alliance raids: 1 x alliance raid lvl 50-80 + 1 EW raid
- 3 old normal raids (lvl 50-90) and only one can be lvl 90
- either a treasure with portal (only need to enter, not even kill stuff inside) or 10 levels of a DD (requires lvl 15)
- 5 trials (lvl 50-90) and they can’t be all lvl 80-90 (only one lvl 90 max). There’s always some lvl 50 or 60.
- 1x one of three pvp modes (lvl 30).

You will likely get enough seals with stormblood completed and certainly enough with ShB

I'm not sure what "DT" means, but the key point is: what is the purpose of setting a target that is impossible to achieve?

You could always argue that there are 15 other targets to complete the Tails. (Including 3+ Extreme challenges that require help from other players, with most of the others taking 15+ minutes to finish. You’ll probably need additional time for those, simply because you weren’t lucky enough to join one through the daily roulette.)

I don’t see how making the entire book accessible would infringe on your rights, but if you're comfortable with the current situation, I respect that.

I just want to emphasize that offering something unachievable is poor UX design, and it can be easily fixed.

It should never be based on Level anyways.

It should be based of MSQ points.

I'm on my new Rothgal alt, and I'm already level 58 on my BLM/30-31 on PLD.

The only thing I've done is all Sidequests as they pop up all over the map, Hunting Log, and Leveling and GHs as they show up each day. (Which also brings up, why the Hell is Job Quests Locked behind MSQ. They aren't even connected in what they referenced to the msq in ARR. why do I need to go all the way to Lil solace just so I can warp back to uldah and get my jobstone. When I easily outleveled by just playing the game. as was expected. <no, the exp changes, and Roulettes boosting me don't count. Specially as there is no Road to 90/100 going on.)

They give you rewards/achievements based on what point of the msq you're at.

They can use the title achievements as way points. if certain Trials/Extremes/Normals dropped on the same patch as that Title/Msq Achievement. That should be the bar in which things unlock.


Way too easy to enjoy the game this way.

and if others are doing it for other reasons, let em.

It's literally just QoL that's being asked by OP and others.

Makes no sense to bash the player who literally is playing the game as is/was designed. rather than the system that got outgrown, mostly, by the game.

As for the whole making pvp queues, which isn't the cause of what OP is experiencing but a symptom.

Who knows what SE has planned for PVP.
They did some good changes. but we have no way in hell knowing how some things haven't changed. like the idea of diminishing FOMO(and I hope, everything returning. with no alterations. even to name.)
