If you don't want to craft your gear -> pay for it
If you don't want to pay for it -> level a crafter and spiritbond your materia

It's not like it's going to randomly fall out of the sky and bop you on the head. Do you want to invest time or gil? If you don't want either can always just wait to get tome gear and start prog then.

i think you missunderstood. i am fine with this system lol. i just said its was never hard too achieve this, many Casuals have it and they are not even raiding

Or honestly? Maybe this is a screaming hot take, but make party wide buffs RDPS/support spec only (MCH being a selfish DPS after all and RDM being more like a support caster).

Its the first tier and its already more fun then every fight in EW was, yea because of the buffs the DPS check is underwhelming but atleast melees have again reasons to fight for uptime etc, so keep up with the work, the only thing which needs work is the dps check, make clearing the content harder if you play poorly.

I’ve cleared e8s/p8s week1

I had a lot of fun this tier, yeah dps check shouldn’t be so easy for a 3rd/4th fight, but it’s a bit «*whatever*» ? They fucked up the tuning, so I guess it won’t happen again for next tiers ? But even if it does it’s not a big deal tbf

I'm honestly of two minds for this.
I progged/cleared week 1 with my static. We never came close to an enrage and honestly felt the DPS checks were very easy.
However now we've completed the tier we've been watching friends prog the fights in PF via discord screen share and I really feel like for PF, the DPS checks feel about right. PF seems to really struggle a lot more with DPS checks.
So I'm a bit conflicted. I feel like the DPS checks are definitely undertuned for statics, but for PF, they feel right.
