So...gonna re-release previous PvP series rewards for crystals or NOT?

Bumping this as well. I didn't see anything like this in the patch notes and they promised they'd be obtainable later on. It's been over two years already.

Hoping we'll see the previous series and Feast rewards re-added for crystals or to the online store soon, I've hardly seen a lot of the older mounts around so it would be cool if they made a comeback. I'm super sad about missing the /determined emote, Fylgja, the Archfiend armor, and the Magitek Conveyor mounts.

I'd prefer if they just had the gear unlocked by achievements that give a token to spend on those old battle pass rewards.

Something like:

Win "x" number of games above "x" rank in Crystalline Conflict. = Token

Win 100 games of Frontline across any map. = Token

Previous battle pass rank 25 prize = 1 token


This should allow people to spend a bit more effort/time as everyone else did when it was current, since they have the luxury of getting it now while its not current (and still make progress on the current pass at the same time).

Honestly when they first announced this system I had thought the rewards would alternate, but given how long it takes to rotate out I don't see that ever happening

They should at the very least add them to the trophy crystal NPC so that they can be purchased

Seasonal event items typically go there, like for All Saints' Wake or Heavensturn event. If they start putting pvp items from battlepass on the mogstation rather than actually following through with their presented idea to put it back for trophy crystals, then that will be a PR mini-disaster. Maybe we may be indifferent? but JP players would raze them for it.

Seasonal event items used to be entirely free and accessible for purchase with in-game gil/holiday currencies at the vendors beside the questgiver for those events when you missed them from a prior year. Then one year they just threw everything onto the Mogstation with no warning and have ever since. It'd be maddening for them to do this, but I can absolutely see them putting old PVP series rewards on the mogstation since the precedent is there already. People don't complain hard enough when they're getting fleeced.

i dont think alternating them would be a good idea. there are a lot of players who only do pvp for this. so if the same rewads come around again those players will be missed.

yup, i do pvp just for series, once i get all reward, i stop, if reward get re-shuffle in, i will just stop doing that series, pretty sure alot like me in NN of my server atleast

It's not likely to ever happen, don't get your hopes up. The mistranslation from a couple years ago was likely just meant to say that you can claim any unclaimed series rewards until the end of the following series. Judging from their previous history with how they handled the Feast, I would say that the devs fully intend to keep some PvP rewards exclusive.

+1 to bringing the old pvp season and series rewards back. Given the constant encouragement to go take breaks, it'd be nice to see items return.
