Sorry, I meant to specify for their offline games - FFXI and XIV have phenomenal writing. 13 and 13-2 were cringe-worthy.

Archer was OP for quite a while. He got word that WAR is the best class now so he did what he had to.

I think its because he's supposed to be the most universally appealing (EI generic) character they could make. An 'everyman'. Therefore he needed to be something more 'mainstream' like WAR, as apposed to BRD.

When was SE's CGI in question???? I don't think improved CGI is what XIV is missing.

Looks amazing, however I hope 2.0's game-play reflects the updated CGI. I never wanna see horrible game-play in such a beautiful game again.
