They said that you would be EXPERIENCING it, which is not the same as watching a trailer

a summary of a short video cannot be compared to what you have experience first hand.. is totally different... .

OP was probably one of the people that never actually read any of the text, and just plowed through the steps and got the gist of it.

Nobody said we were the only ones who knew what was happening. That would be ridiculous. Did you think 2.0 was going to be completely out of context? Like 1.0 was on release? Nobody knew what was actually happening in the story? Fine way to fail at release again.

Or have you just gotten fed up with the forums and begun to troll?

i understand your plight op, but i agree with suzaku on this one. did you honestly expect them to advertise a product completely out of context. they tried to be as vague as possible (i mean come on, it's pretty vague) how else were they supposed to market it on such a short schedule.

Must suck for you every time a movie trailer comes out. Spoiling every full-length movie in a span of 1-2 mins has to be a real downer.

Chill out. If you haven't played the game before this trailer would hardly make any sense. And if you had played very little it is a nice refresher on the situation and helps people not be even more disoriented if they start playing again.

Is there any chance at all of our companions being in 2.0? I really doubt it, which sucks.

I also wonder about stuff like the storyline for the Archer quests being inconclusive.

There will be more job quests when the level cap goes up so no worries about that.

It will show in what you know, and the things you experienced. You get to see it first hand, over time with your friends and companions. Square enix can't force you to enjoy it but to feel entitled to the story alone is a bit of a stretch.

^ LIKED! I am enjoying my time in 1.0 and am really looking foward to 2.0 and hopfully all the new players it will bring. It's nice to know that I was here before the story that all the 2.0 players will know. It's always nice to have some backstory or history to a game.
