Maintenance Timing

until now noone told me what kind of emergency is there. Yes Xbox have issue but this issues been there for a long time so tell me the "emergency" for today please i want to understand and excuse about my rant

The fix is apparently to patch the Xbox freezing issue. I'm sure the xbox community is happy the issue that been going on for 2 weeks is getting attention ASAP and not waiting until next week.

If the issue affected PC/Playstation I'm sure people would say the same thing, demanding it to get patched ASAP a solution is found.

For real? Oh wow, does that bring back memories. I remember in the 360 days back when my xbox would freeze just before the end of Beseiged, totally losing all my participation. Good times.

Really glad they are addressing problems with the console if that's the case. Nothing sucks more than having the latest gen device and a game that isn't ported to it properly.

・During one of the Trials added in Patch 7.0, the debuff that was supposed to be granted when the boss used the action "Projection of Turmoil" disappeared without activating properly when the effect time ended.
・In the main scenario quest "The Protector and the Destroyer", the instance battle sometimes would not end even after the boss was defeated.

Honestly I was wondered why they brought FFXIV to X Box in general.
Isn't this console dieing for years now? Sales in Japan are very poor.
Globally, things aren't going well either. I also heard that it's pointlessly difficult
for X Box players to make the FFXIV subscription.

It's just my personal opinion, but I think it was a mistake to port it to X Box.
But I have not much knowlegde of how the buisness goes and why they did it.

If i would play this game for 10hours a day i might think the same but i ( personally ) and maybe many others just wanted a relaxed time with this game, so this is the problem now not the how SE rules this ? love it

something broken with a char is not an emergency to me but yeah. i am not new to play onlinegames funfact most other games can hotfix most of their emergencys on the fly btw. Its not about me but it doesnt mean i dont have right to complain what the hell where does this opinion come from. for the point it stands it can happen but theres no point in there which forbid me to raise my complain about it. Everyone have their right for it you me and the guy on the other continent..

I completely empathize that this is inconvenient for many players, especially for those with IRL commitments outside the game, the weekend is one to two days where you can commit some solid game hours to level up your characters etc.

We had our in game eternal bonding ceremony planned for 1500 which had to be cancelled today and that was slightly annoying - but I appreciate that this is labelled as an emergency update, so I can understand that a critical update/hot fix may have needed deployment hence the server down time.
