HEY HEY I found something quite weird. So have you seen Odin right and you see his nice dark stead, wait for it.....wait for it......YES ITS A FREAKING HORSE, horses dont exist in Final Fantasy pu le a se make Odin ride a Chocobo or gimme nice dark steads too~!!!

Well yeah, he's always ridden a horse in even FF usage of Odin since Sleipnir is as much part of Odin as his Gungnir. Would look odd if he was on a chocobo.

Maybe a crazy chocobo from XIII-2.

Only if it can be an evil-looking 6-legged chocobo. That could turn out pretty creepy.

I know he always had a horse, but why do he get the nice and fine stead while we just get horsebirds~ makes hungry,.,..i mean sad

You'd need to dig deep in the Localization thread. But it's there.

Basically, there are horses in the world, although not in our continent. You'll realize that there are far more references to horses throught the game. It's explained, mostly, as our weather and geography being far more suitable to chocobos than horses and them not being natives, hence why all the other races who travelled to this continent not bringing them.

Also Odin ALWAYS rode a horse in Final Fantasy, in every single time he showed up.
