Skirmish: how?

Just cleared with 7 people with Great Elm at the end. 3x DRG 1x MNK 1x PLD 2xWHM

Got a Greataxe as the drop

Redoing the Golem 2nd time much easier. 2x WHM, WAR, BRD, 2x BLM made it easy

Golem is weak to Stone, and also Aero. (Stone does most damage to golem who knew) We just kited in circles as hate swapped and kept regen up.

So just the weapons drop? No seals T_T?

Seems like it.

Got the CNJ can first try but I rolled a 1 for it .===.

Got fists from Great Elm chest.

I got a trident.

Seems like there's only one drop per run, though. Wish the rest of the party got seals for the effort at least.

how do you beat the elm? we did 3 war 3 blm 2 whm and timed out with 10 mins in, kept hate reset.

Hate is a bit of a issue but with 2 whm's it's pretty easy to live through the eventual smackdown he will lay on everyone. hit him with 12 min left and had 4 or so when we finished.

Oh yeah got bow~ Personally I don't think it will be very long before these weapons are sitting on the AH at a decent price considering they are not Rare/EX at all. Although them being meldable might effect the price from going too far down.

We beat the elm 2/2 with 2 WHM, 1 WAR, 1 PLD, 1 MNK, 2 BLM and 1 BRD. WHMs just need to cure everyone awake and when hate resets, move but don't move it TOO much else his other moves will hit everyone. Both times we started the elm with about 10 minutes left, beat him in about 6 minutes.

Sword dropped both times.

I'm guessing there's some sort of gear-check involved for this. Any word on whether it costs anything (stones, totems) to do these fights? Thinking of ending my hiatus to give skirmish a try.
