You're correct, I have more knowledge of general business structure and have have the most basic knowledge that says:

Different departments have different purposes and budgets, headed by different people.

Your opinion on job feel is irrelevant to the conversation, as I'm not here to argue nostalgic opinions.

It's called department budgets. Even my tiny company has money allocated to a Marketing budget. Along with software and hardware and other departmental budgets. And nobody gets every single thing that they want. Our Chief Financial Officer controls the purse strings there.

What a sad reaction.

Imagine if every game that tried to come up with something cool outside the game got comments like that. Gone would be all the cool stuff like Secret World, which created an imaginary company whose website could be found online.
