Yeah, doing a total redownload fixed it.
Apparently this has been an issue since 2.0 due to some archaic coding in the launcher, but that's just typical XIV business.
For me it was a pretty big download, took like 4-5ish hours but my internet is super slow.
Looks like the character gen and so forth has been pushed to the Lodestone too, characters are showing up in the profiles as 7.0 mode.
I have 1 gig download speed and mine finished in about 1 hr, 20 min. That's with getting booted four times after I had already gotten 37 of 57 gigs downloaded.
