I really hope they won't go back on the QoL they brought by making the crafted gear available before the savage. Hopefully they'll notice the issue it may bring or make the necessary adjusments. Or I'll have to break my purse :/

Please consider releasing Master Recipes and crafted gear ahead of 7.05, it would take a lot of stress off your players

This is only really an issue of scheduling on the expansion launch patches as they are trying to give players more than enough time to get through the new story and levelling content before the raids. By x.2, and x.4 any player that actually cares about raiding day one will have had their classes levelled for some time and the amount of new content is significantly less. They could either bring the tome patch forward and launch it with the normal raids...or they could delay the savage tier one more week to give people time to get their crafted stuff done. They'd probably want to push it back a week as to not let people feel rushed to get to level cap. Personally I see the "stress" of getting it all done on day one as a player created problem, but I won't complain if they make adjustments.

agreed, i would rather have to rush on raid week versus having to ruin the leveling experience just to be able to stay competitive in the market.

I started in EW so I never knew the pain of crafting day 1 savage release, I am not looking forward to this at all. I hope they can at least give us a day or something. It just doesn't make sense.
-
Completely agreed, especially for the start of an expac you want to settle things down smoothly, this will be so chaotic if they keep this schedule.
-
I'm surprised this hasn't gained more attention.
This is actually causes so much headache for those who craft for themselves and others for Day 1 raiding.
Please consider going back to changes introduced in the past two raid tiers and release the crafted gear and recipes ahead of savage.

Huge failure for the devs to forget to change the schedule from EW or decide to walk back the 6.2 and 6.4 QoL for Savage. Everyone yell at them to fix this ASAP!

There is quite literally no reason for this change, this is one of the most earth-shattering, bafflingly stupid decisions I have ever seen Square Enix make about this game. It is hostile to the player to nobody's benefit and only makes the game worse by removing an improvement they already made.
Release timing is different from the normal raid tier drops, but they can simply release master recipes three weeks after launch and leave the normal expac release schedule otherwise the same. Crafters will still have a week to craft, and the raid still drops 4 weeks after launch.
Walking back an objective improvement to the content cycle which received universally positive feedback is staggeringly stupid and I cannot believe SE even considered it for a single second. The fact that this decision got far enough to be in a live letter is embarrassing for them, even if they walk it back after the response.
