2.0 Starter Equipment for Everyone!?

Ya rse stands for race specific equipment I'm pretty sure, but ya as said if we don't get it and it is starter equipment and you want it, just buy it from the NPC, much like you can do now with the starter equipment

We'll all be getting. No doubt about. And I'm sure we are all getting it the same way. New and veteran players alike.

I'm either expecting everyone to start with their RSE on. Remember, something will happen to create the leap from 1.23 to 2.0.
Either we start off with wearing them as we proceed through the intro of 2.0 or we have to obtain them through some method. Be it buying, questing or whatever.

I, very much doubt that S-E will go. "Here you go newbies. Have some free nice looking gear. Those veterans can buy it from that pawn shop over there."

I hope it won't be starter gear, and this is why:

• It's so cool looking, in a few short levels you would be massively downgraded in your appeal of visual awesome. Unless the stats on it are good enough to last you to at least 30, you'll cry when you have to take it off to wear cotton.
  
  
• Having it be a level 35~40 RSE would be something huge for players to look forward to. I'm fairly new and in my high 20s, so having it be something to look forward to would be a huge bonus. It will be useful for me, and not just AFK/Town gear.
  
  
• It won't be everywhere IMMEDIATELY. Remember when those cute blue anniversary dresses came out in XI? Adorable, but everywhere. They lost their appeal quickly compared to other items that were slightly more difficult to obtain, though just as lovely. -I realize that most players already have a legion of level 50s at their disposal, so this whole point may be moot.

I also hope that it isn't crafted because that would be a detriment to new players or any players that do not have the needed craft leveled. Unless it could be a quest where you attain super special awesome rare items of fantabulousness and have an "instance" where you can craft it yourself without having to have Weaver at 40+.

Other than that. It's lovely, and I can't wait to see many of you wearing it -be it on our new female Roegs or our new snazzy male kittycats~

As Felis pointed out, the 2.0 starter gear will be distributed in some way to you guys either through a NPC or crafting. Details are still be decided though. ^^

Thats great. Would be sad to see: Hey check out thise awesome looking starter gear. Shame you guys started before 2.0 and can't have :P
