Also nobody cares about titles. If there's a lot of information near your name in the game I just won't bother reading. Kinda prefer clean names with short titles or no title at all, looks neat
As someone who loves to grind achievements and show off my rewards, I like the suggestions in this thread to have more ways to show off achievements and more ways to track them.
The devs have also added new reward types in the past, such as music rolls, adventurer plates and fashion accessories. Maybe there could be another new type of reward? To give an example, I'd like collectable "auras". Kind of like titles you choose to equip, but visual. Maybe your footsteps sparkle a little when you run around, the ground around you slowly turns frosty when you stand still or your teleport animation is different and you sink into / rise from the ground when you teleport.
I like how GW2 handles their achievement system. Some items will give you a direct reward, titles, etc, but most will give you points - kinda like how XIV already does it. However, they also give you rewards for every X amount of points. This reward always includes some currencies and some permanent account buffs, but in addition, some tiers will give you unique achievement glams, titles, and gems (their cash shop currency).
So regardless of which achievement you're currently hunting, you are always accumulating points for more rewards.
They also let you pin achievements so that they'll show up on your HUD. Super handy.
I would rather see auras for gameplay effects. Please no cosmetic auras.
I wouldn't have an issue with different unlockable teleport or respawn/raise VFX, they aren't super common to see and end relatively quickly.
But definitely no permanent auras, I already thought the fashion accessory with permanent wings was an eyesore.
Maybe some people do, but even then it's only for a few select titles.
XIV has the same problem that WoW has with it's titles and mounts, oversaturation.
You get titles thrown at you for the most benign things to the point where 90% are so meaningless that you stop bothering to look at them.
