Mounts that don't show the players' characters are lame...

Fair point! I think it's kinda funny and you can get some nice pictures if you freeze in the flying position, but it is silly looking.

We have space jellyfish mounts that shrink us to miniature size, so that we float inside them. Not all that unbelievable that our character sizes shrink for the rhino too.

lunar whale: its a spaceship not an actual whale, its just a name
rhino: yes
rising phoenix: its a recolor of two other phoenix mounts where you ride them, the fact you arnt on thsi one thus is deliberate.

I don't like something done by *check notes* three mounts out of a couple hundreds. Time to make a thread

Including the Ark in the DT Collector's Edition it's at least 5 mounts and all in the last couple years. It's looking like a trend at this point and I'm free to give my feedback about it. If people disagree that's perfectly fine, I'm happy for you if you enjoy the mounts and I'm sure the devs are happy people are satisfied with them.

Wow it means there could be as many as ten of them in two years. This is extremely serious

There's room for all kinds of mounts. This is such a non-issue.

i actually disagree,

That Airship mount that is the original FF Airship is pretty cool and that one does not show the player, because it wouldn't make sense to.

Do you really want to try to ride on the deck of the Ark? Looks like those propellers would cut you to pieces.
