Probably not since we don't have any jobs to choose from. Classes and jobs are two different things. When SE does add jobs i'm sure abilities/traits will be exclusive to them.
you can get a weak mob to attack you so you get evade procs while you're fighting the main mob. Simian Thrash is good for incapacitation tooQuote:
Well Pugilist gets Simian thrash at 50 that can only be used when you avoid an attack.. So if your a DD... you have to hope that if the tank doesn't hold aggro, the mob looks at you, and you use your evade skills, successfully evade, and then use the attack within the few seconds you have.
It would be cool if there were some epic party quests tied in to get some of these "end-game" abilities
IT DOESNT MATTER WHAT SE SAID! IT'S WHAT SE SHOULD HAVE DONE FROM THE START!
Don't you people understand? They have had so many great mmo's that they could have built from. They shouldnt torture their player base for the next couple of years expecting them to WAIT for the good stuff. The good stuff should be at the start and THEN comes the better stuff.
You people are in complete denial if you think that this game is fine the way it is and that they should not have added end game content or good skills/final skills because "they havent released an expansion yet herp durp"
They should have learned from FF11's mistakes not make the same ones... No offense SE but I have no idea how you guys have come to make the dicisions you made for this game. This game could have some serious potential if you guys created successful launch.
Look at games like TERA. They already have quests, epic skills you get at lvl 4... epic skills you get at level cap (which is 50 btw...) and they have different variations of End Game Content and HUGE zones, dungeons, instances and every aspect that makes an MMO great while avoiding the bad. They are even adding an expansion pack when it's launched in NA increasing level cap and adding MORE content such as skills gear maps and lore. SO MUCH the NA players are going to have a HUGE bucket list to enjoy which is every MMO freaks dream.
To sum it all up;
OP, I agree with you and there is nothing that could turn you from being right.
Yes, classes are underwhelming right now. We all know it, the only people who are even remotely unaware are people who never leveled past 10 anyways, or people who never started playing in the first place.
The game will change in time, but for now it's like watching grass grow. -_-
this is one particular reason i want them to rethink boosting the level cap to 99 and lowering some of the resources down to 50 with an unlock tree or whatever.
what if they unlock 50-75 and the level 75 skill is also lackluster then they can just say "Oh wait till 80 you'll get something great" .
Then again I guess the fear of this just hinges on how much you trust square-enix.
R50 was a temporary cap from the beginning so we didn't get to far ahead of the PS3 players when they started in March, obviously things have changed now and it looks like we will be stuck at R50 for the meantime while they figure out what direction they are going to take and get everything back on track.
At least blood bath II is pretty nice, the healing matches or exceeds damage done with a cap around 800 hp returned.
there are plenty of other aspects of mrd that are more deserving of the nerd rage.
The game's next level cap will be 75 or 80.
The game contains skills for up to level 80, and there are already quests planned out for past R50.
There are also monsters up to level 80, in addition to gathering points.
So many people posting wrong things with no proof...
