The Crescent Moon mount isn't tied to Little Lady's Day in any way. The chronic case of entitlement lies in thinking that, because Square Enix offered a mount in the cash shop, you are owed a mount for free in exchange in the game. Clear enough?

FFXIV Complete Edition $59.99 Collector's Edition $139.99, monthly subscription $12.99 + $2.00 per month per retainer up to seven, Companion App $5.00 per month, upcoming expansion (no cost yet but most likely $39.99-$59.99)
So on top of box cost and expansion costs a single player can be paying up to 31.99 a month. But....free you say?
I'm just putting two of your posts together to aid in the discussion. :)
Free, as in no additional charge. It should be self evident that FFXIV already provides a sizable amount of mounts and other rewards for the cost of the game and subscription.
It's one thing to be dissatisfied with the quality of a mount or reward. We paid for it and we deserve to have a good product for our money. We can and should let the devs know when something leaves us underwhelmed.
But, please explain why the customer base is owed a new in-game reward whenever Square Enix puts a mount up for sale in the Mogstation because that's entitlement.
It's connected because the mount was released on and in celebration of the IRL festival of LLD. ( Hinamatsuri). You know this was deliberate because it was released on a Sunday. SE chose to "celebrate" by putting out a cash shop mount instead of putting the event mount in the event
They're 100% connected. It's not entitlement to ask why the Hinamatsuri mount isn't available to be earned during the Hinamatsuri event in game. Like I said, I really hope you're being paid for this and you don't genuinely believe the nonsense you've been typing.
