In-game marriage, will it make a return?

It could give the dev team an excuse to use the "Bake Big Ol' Cake" content from back in 2010. ^^

I think there was a Dev post in the JP translation thread not long ago that said they weren't bringing the Marriage thing to FFXIV. Frankly I wouldn't blame them for not doing it, because it was a super hassle in FFXI just to get the application through and I think only 1 out of every 50 applications ever got accepted.

Not sure if anyone has mentioned the other obvious (and positive) reason to do this:
Massive gil sink so long as they(SE) price it right.

But yea, I would like to get hitched to my RL wife in game. XI weddings were fun to attend too.
