I like the new system. I think weeklies and an ultimog challenge are a fun fresh take on the event. Going forward, it would be really nice if they implemented a wider level-range of stuff to do. For the dungeons, yes, implement level 50 dungeons so the newbies can take a crack at the event. But also include higher leveled stuff for people at level cap who don't think being synced down to ARR levels is engaging. Dungeons should've had a level 50 option and at LEAST a level 70 option. Same with normal/24man raids. In this way, newbies can have fun and so can people who aren't so new, and more variety means a higher chance of picking something more people will actually enjoy. Additionally, seeking community feedback about possible events (kinda difficult, I know) might be a good way to have less people complaining about the rewards that do come out.
