Wouldn't be better to add mixed races from current existing ones than make new ones?

Wouldn't opening mixed races up to players inevitably open the can of warms that is anything mixed with Lalafell? People already see and treat them like children characters.

RP and character customization purposes.

I assume that the vast majority of half-breeds outside of Lalafell combinations between our current race selection models could be done with only minor changes to the base models.

Being opened in memes, fanart, or mods is very different from SE officially doing it. They have somewhat opened it with Hilda, but it would be a much larger step to release a mixed playable race.
