Okay so I agree she talks too much during the shorts quest. I can understand why she made so much lines, they had to introduce a character we are supposed to spend a whole expansion with in the matter of half a MSQ patch.
I've seen people speculating she talks so much to hide her lack of confidence, which should be a great twist for her character.
I believe her dialogues should have been diluted or spread through a longer time.
At least he "jokes scene" makes more sense that Y'shtola swinging between magical catgirl and edgy mommy.
I also think it's good she's not popular with everyone. Getting a character that fits everyone isn't fun.
Cool chud thread fellow /vpol/ack
Put Hope from FF13 in the game then I will be annoyed. I will be so annoyed I will go to japan just to tell Yoshi face to face how annoyed I am.
I'm usually on the "negative" side of ff14 (usually combat related though), but I don't know why people are so mad about this new character I think the story was somewhat pretty fine, the Va she did well too imo.
I dunno I like the character so far, I can't really tell going forward though as it's been a short time
"New character bad" is basically the mentality. People do it constantly when there was a new one, I'm sure if you look far back enough you'll find people complaining about say Yugiri or Sadu. I mean, people did that with Varshahn and now people use him as an example of good VA to bash Wuk Lamat.
Not that far in the MSQ yet, but reading all those comments and topics about a fictional characher, all that hate it's unhealthy.
