Emotional attachment to NPC's

OH, can't forget...

Yda. Love her accent and gear, plus her attitude is fun.

Palymo. Seems like the opposite of Yda, and his abilities in battle were cool (cutscenes).

The two together are hilarious.

I've noticed a lot of NPCs in this game are completely unlikable assholes, that said I like Baderon in LL cause he has leet pirate speak, and all of the important NPCs related to the Maelstrom GC

This is seriously true

Personally, I don't feel XI's NPC's are as memorable as people like to bang on about. About the only one I remember off hand is Shantotto, and that's only because she is constantly referenced elsewhere. Otherwise the characters were as 2 demensional and cliched as XIV's. But then I'm one of the few people who will say that writing is NOT one of any Final Fantasy's strong points, sure they're visually stunning, and technically good, but the stories are almost always hackneyed and predictable with dull and wooden characters.

I honestly love Papalymo and Yda (Especially Yda for her naivete..)

Von Darnus and Legatus are hawt, (I want to know what's under those helmets!! >_<)

Y'shtola and Hildibrand are the only two npcs I can stand.

Everyone else is not worth remembering.

My favorite NPC besides my Miqo'te companion is Raubahn, he's like a brother to me. Just totally bad ass and ready to kill.

Thancred is mai husbando, 'nuff said.

I hate literally everyone from Gridania.

And I'm meh about everyone else.

Except Merlwyb.

Oh, and the miner twins. They're awesome.
