Not really, I'm afraid. Attacking someone personally, and letting you notice tha you did just that are nowhere equivalent.
Of course you can learn and move on, or try to turn the tables into an argument on who did it.

This is the perfect example of uncostructive, hyperbolic criticism I talked about just a few posts above. Using clearly spiteful and aggressive verbs as "sucks" (not to mention mistaking your own very personal opinion of like or dislike for an absolute statement of quality) and similar sure doesn't help the quality or the community, nor that of the discussion in any way.

There are so much hate thread because the game currently has no content all what so ever, also a very bad UI, and an armoury system that needs major works, some classes not having identity of themself such as DoMs that clearly can do same things with only different namings, players also needs transportation needs to travel through vast world of eorzea, jumping around might be able to solve those problem, some classes also need rebelancing, i mean solo NMs really?

am i suppose to type like that everytime? there are quality threads that requires constructive criticism, this thread isnt one of them. Sucks is perfect to define this game at this current situtation and this thread.

Hyperbolic. The game obviously has content. Maybe not as much content as you (or me) would like. But this doesn't change the fact that the game has content.
Guildleves are content, story quests are content, class quests are content, NMs are content, actually evey single piece of decoration, environment and equipment you see in game is content. Your character is content. Ergo, the game has content.
So saying that the game has no content "all what so ever" is not only hyperbolic (in effect), but also simply and factually false.

No, actually you should do quite a lot better, at least if you want to instigate quality discussion. Otherwise, have fun with the flames.

I try to be polite to people as I would in person. I don't understand how being hidden behind a screen is a good excuse to be rude. It still affects some people in the same way as saying it to their face.
I feel like the internet brings out people's true personalities.. they say things here that they keep inside when in person. They let their inner jerk out on a rampage... throwing around insults, assumptions, accusations and sarcasm.
It's embarrassing the way some people act.
I don't know about anyone else, but my mother taught me better than that.


Edit: Off-topic... Please excuse my asking, Abriael, do you have Asperger's syndrome by chance? You remind me of someone. XD

It is kind of interesting though; for a game that 'sucks', people sure care a lot about it to argue this much. If it truly had no content worth playing through, people wouldn't even argue, they'd just leave.

the best advice i can give to you is : stay away from the forum.

either way, I do not care about ppl being rude, they can write/say anything they want w/o hidden behidden the screen, I dont know why do you care so much about those ppl, if you dont like just igonere not that hard to do
