MrHappy State of Endwalker w/ Zepla podcast

From my point of view as a mostly solo player it really feels like most of the criticism comes from content creators who want more new social content in the game so they can have more "interesting" content for their channels.

This forum aside I get the impression the average player doesn't have such doom and gloom for the game and are probably mostly enjoying it.

For all the "FF 14 is dying" videos I keep seeing every year the game has always felt highly active and healthy to me.

So I've never really related to these talking points.

I'm not a new player either, have been playing off and on since 1.0 and Endwalker is the expension I've played the most.

Is the game perfect, no, there can be improvements but something feels suspicious with all the content being pushed out about the game being terrible with "no content"

Maybe this game just fits my personality more than the average content creator. I mean I can't imagine going on camera and having to find something to talk about for hours on end about this game, but I have spent a ridiculous amount of hours in game just doing my thing, and enjoying it.

Since no one has yet, I'll actually engage: I'm no fan of Mr.Happy myself, I think he is incredibly rude and his guides mediocre, but I think it's good a lot of our big name streamers are critiquing things and starting dialogue. It's good he also disagrees with her points too. Varied feedback is only going to help the longterm health of the game.

I think stormy is failing to understand the issue here...if we ignore the issue of multiple threads essentially being spam about the same topic point then Mr alt troll keeps on going unchecked. You know people wouldn't be adverse to people with a negative post if it were so glaringly obvious who the poster is so that original post regardless if the material inside it is good it looses credibility because there are factors into why they are posting it...mainly to stir the pot for their small ego having to be page 1 all the time. Also...you responded to short comments as valid critique are hypocritical when you yourself will post memes or similar responses to other people in other threads and there is plenty of what the youths call 'receipts' of this.

This thread doesn't need to exist...it could of just been tacked onto the already stupidly large zepla post... also I'm only 25 minutes in and hearing zepla saying she doesn't hate Endwalker...but posted the clickbait title anyway just irks me. Someone already proved in the comments that her achievement score shows lack of mounts and minions to content that she hasn't done...current extremes, deep dungeon, island sanctuary...its not even the typical people saying why don't you have all the tank mounts etc.. its the generic 'causal' content she hasn't even done. Also she loved base Endwalker...she praised the heck out of it....its more post patches which even then she ignores all the QoL and benefits to the new player experience because everything is terrible...its not in a great place but its not in the worst place.

I don't like many 14 content creators to be fair as most just drip feed their content or do the bare minimal that anyone with a mic could make. Cough cough read a lodestone post and make it 10 mins...type content. But in this regard I haven't watched the whole video yet but he is definitely more insightful then Zepla in this regard so out of the 2 he holds a little more weight if you count these peoples opinions as weight that affect your views on the product.

He didn't disagree with all of her points, just some of them. Like you said, it's a good thing since varied feedback can encourage discussions and can give the developers a better idea of what players are thinking. Not everyone is thinking the same thing.

Sadly yes toxic positivity is a thing on this forum but there is also toxic negativity and thats why we cant have nuanced discussion in the slightest so it just becomes a case of who can we meme 'copium', troll or shout louder then which is sort of sad when you think about it...active moderation of the rules and threads would alleviate some of this or at least coax discussion onto more productive paths.

And there is your problem. These two are the worst FF XIV, content creator wise, has to offer. Imean MrHappy is milking this game so bad he is rating past patches now, lmao.

everyone hates the constant posting of zepla treats, yet the same people keep going in, futher bumping said treads, making them the most popular ones.

Imo you're just doing the same thing Zepla does, something that I take issue with because I feel like it lacks creativity and any originality: copy-pasting content and not adding much to it.

It's fine to want to share their opinions but at least *ADD* your own original thoughts to it because otherwise it feels like you're just trying to push people to view MH or Zep's channel.

I promise you, you don't need to advertise for them here. Plenty know they exist. If they want to watch them, they will.

Otherwise, I think this thread would have gone down better if it wasn't just a "Congrats on losing weight" post and actually had some of your thoughts on the topic discussed that weren't just solely regurgitated from the video. You're also a chronic thread maker on here, just being honest, so that's also gonna irritate some people since we already have an issue with people making multiple threads for the same thing. It could have all just gotten add to your original Zepla thread tbh.

As a side note, I don't know what ultimates have to do with anything lol. You can literally buy clears, ultimates aren't this big flex anymore that people want to make them out to be and they're even more of a joke now after what happened with TOP lol.
