I'm pretty sure there isn't going to be any major additions to patch 1.23 that we haven't been told about at some point in the past. I think Yoshi's omitting of information was to not spoil the storyline for people who hadn't read his earlier letters. We've known for a year that we would be fighting the Legatus in the final battle that would be added in 1.23. Unless that has changed, pretty sure thats what Yoshida is attempting to hide.

Hiding the Legatus battle is a good move. I doubt we'll see new classes until 2.0/beta at the earliest. It's fun to think about I guess, and whatever it is they already know anyway. New classes take months of planning so while it ms a secret to us, the devs already know what is in store in that arena.
