How about everyone who wants to enter, registers their request with the NPC once it pops, then after 30 seconds, say there were 12 people who registered, but only space for 8, 8 will be randomly chosen, and notified. That way we are catering for those with laggy connections. A 30 second window should be plenty.

It's a bit funny isn't it. I know a lot of people mention how they loved camping NMs in XI (I only played it a month so I have no experience in that sense) and how instanced content in XIV is spoon feeding.

But then again when it's a matter of getting that one item for that one quest I can understand it being quite annoying.

People would complain about too much random again ^^

After you finished a behest you can join the next behest during the last minutes (1 minute before the start). Enough time for everyone to join who wasn't in the last run.

We were definitely aware it was going to drastically change since they achievements were being removed.

Definitely curious to see what it's been turned into.
