Random DC

Started DCing today after 4 hours of stable time. Tried to stick through it but in the past 1,5 hours I've DCed over 20 times. I can't stay logged in for more than 30 seconds now. Bye bye, this evenings planned events...

Got the error message 4 times in a row within 15 mins. Gonna try to move my char into the innroom and stop playing until the devs even bother to respond to the several topics that had been made.

From the looks of it, we will probably never get a dev response. According to the guidelines this is a forum to "discuss technical issues with each other" >.<

Bump because this is still occuring, Dc'd 10 times in the last 30 mins.

Hmm so I deleted the FFXIV folder under My Documents/My games and the Dcing has seemed to have stopped for now.

(if you do this back up the folder and remember to save your macros)

I'll update if it remains that way.

Nope still happening, reinstalling the game again and if that doesn't work think it'll be time to quit.

Seems the reinstall fixed the issue ... (at least so far)

once you reinstall, do you need to download all patches again or just the last one?
And.... did you keep your macro and settings folder (with a backup save), or just remade it from scratch?



EDIT: yesterday night (22.30 GMT+2, Italy) I dc like 20+ times in a row. I didn't have even the time to say "dc" in LS that I would dc again.... just too bad I f***d up LS second moogle run.... never gonna have 7 weapons from it with these issues I guess.

Yea I saved the whole FFXIV folder in my documents/ my games.

Uninstalled and then reinstalled fresh, and yes you have to download a total of 14 patches, it does it all in one download. (downloaded faster than expected)

Anyone having an incredible increase in R0´s and D/C´s since yesterday with he 30002 error? it just came out of nowhere and i keep crashing or having R0 every 10 to 15 mins or sometimes in less. Tried everything was being said here...but nothing seems to work out....I can´t play like this....SE help!!!

I've been having problems with D/C too... our internet will work fine; in fact, my roommate and I play together in the same room on different computers, and his game will stay running perfectly while mine D/C.

I've noticed it happens with me mostly when I'm going to the airship floor via the elevator in Uldah. Never fails.

I reinstalled and it didn't help =(

Still dc like crazy.

This has happened to me too. I fought Garuda for a couple hours tonight with no issues at all. Then I went to Mor Dhona, and started Disconnecting every 10-15 minutes, with R0 happening every 5 minutes.

Tested my connection, all seems fine. No packet loss on my home tests.
