i actually tried to put it in that text lol

they can que into duties with you and they can even be on your friendslist.
blacklist is literally just like sticking your head in an oven and screaming so you cant hear anything
The only reason for the NN is for mentors to help out new players or returners with duties or answering questions. If you ask for help and get kicked for it that mentor should get banned and not allowed on the NN again.
If you believe you were wronged, you can report to GM's. But keep in mind they will actually review what has happened and if you were spamming over and over for help on the same duty then they won't do anything. If you just asked for help and were nice about it then the mentor is in the wrong and they will probably be warned/banned.
I'll give you the benefit of the doubt but if it's all the NN mentors doing this to you it's likely got some ground. People rarely become this hostile without a reason. Only you would know, and if you genuinely feel wronged just GM it. They do care in this game.
What's super annoying though is when people play a very disingenuous game where they try to be as annoying as possible to the NN while still hiding behind the plausible deniability of being the most innocent soul ever just to bait a negative response from the chat and then shame and decry mentors as terrible people. Just FYI you are not being smart and everyone can see through it, its just most don't bother with you and some get frustrated enough to take the bait and engage the troll, thus rewarding him.
That's absolutely bizarre. I can say with certainty that across every single server on Materia, you would never be kicked for that. In fact, mentors here will routinely go digging through PF and link random PFs to NN - especially for MSQ progression.
I wouldn't say it is a reason to be kicked, but it also depends how often it is being utilized.
There's a lot of content out there that you can just run in Duty Finder. Queue up for what you need (dungeons, story trials, etc) and duty finder will populate it with other people that need it or people running roulettes. Using a Party Finder for things like that... is just trying to "jump the line." Party Finder makes more sense for content that simply won't be filled by duty finder... or content that is being run for a certain reason. For example... running a dungeon for a Blue Mage spell or a Triple Triad card - unsync'd.
If the OP is just looking for a carry for content that could be run in duty finder, I sort of understand where the NN mentors are coming from. I can't say I agree though. There are probably other ways to handle it. But, if a player is putting up a PF for Sastasha, then skipping cutscenes and then 5 minutes later asking for help clearing Tam Tara, then Copperbell... etc etc all the way up to Endwalker content, I could see that being annoying and unnecessary.
I’m not in game now so please double check this info
I suggest that if you get kicked again, take screenshots of not only what you said in the NN before the kick as well as a screenshot of the reason a mentor gave when you are kicked. I can’t remember the exact setting you need to have in order for it to appear in chat
I suggest this so you can then report that mentor if you feel you are being intentionally targeted or harassed. Being able to clearly explain what has been happening will hopefully get it looked at.
