I have the same impression. Do these people even realize how much work it is to get the topsoil for gardening? And how annoying it is to click on every plant every day one by one to water them? Whenever I walk through some housing districts I never see any gardens in use.

But of course it is a nice argument you can't counter.

I think they should at least add a new UI for the gardening plots.

I would like them to add a retainer bell and fc chest access, if only to access decorations and get a place for the loot in between dungeon runs without having to constantly run to my GC for turn ins.

Anyway, I agree with those mentioning that gardens would probably not be used that much. I have access to 3 garden plots and mostly grow things that take only 24h and no watering like Althyk lavender and voidrake. There’s no rng involved but it requires a constant supply of shroud topsoil. One Shroud topsoil can only be gathered once a day. The other way to get some is to buy unidentifiable shell in Idylshire with poetics. That’s 3600 poetics a day. I used to have flower pots indoors but not anymore because of that.

Thavnairian onions go for about 90k on my server. At that price, there’s no way I’m going to bother growing some. I just sell my production of easy to grow lavender/voidrake or byproducts when I don’t need everything. Once the FC ships are fully built, I’ll probably just keep one garden.

Hardly worth the soil for Voidrake. Just burn potting soil and call it a day, maximizing per-diem intake is gratuitously unnecessary.

Its great when your starting out. Once you get subs up and running, its not worth the time.

Then they should probably work through those. There was a reason people were asking for Sub/Airships/Gardening to be decoupled from housing and be more fair to players who aren't lucky enough to get a house.

I’m glad they are slowly turning Island Sanctuary into housing, but dummies would be nice to have. They should consider at the least having a dummy plot you can customize. A lot of the cities have them in the game.
