I will uninstall and re-install using the disk.
Can I download the game client from a site?
I won't be able to do this till Saturday. I am tethering atm.

If none of this works I will simply cancel my subscription and play something else.

There is no official client download that I know of. I am not sure why not, since you cannot log in unless you have an account anyway.

I did the morning of the 19th.
I received a generic email this morning saying i would be contacted.

Reinstall did nothing. No word from SE. They are still taking my money. WTF is going on?

if a clean reinstall of the game did nothing, and it worked before you had to reinstall windows, i guess something is wrong with either windows or some drivers ....

Every other game works - D3, SC2, SWTOR, MW3.
This is a problem specific to FFXIV.
