While I don't think limiting the LB to two kills is the worst thing in the world, nerfing the shield and the LB while not giving them something else to compensate for their loss in the LB area is just terrible. The LB is where they are threatening, so if you nerf that and give them nothing in return they go from being the extreme mid tier they are now to just being bad.
Chain killing with Seiton Tenchu feels so dirty sometimes it feels like the range I can teleport around using the ultimate could be a bit smaller. Maybe then Shukuchi may have to be spent aggressively instead of often having it for the defensive escape play! Bro I don't want to advocate for nerfs, really I like playing ninja. I think other jobs should be buffed instead of target nerfing Ninja.
Give me one reason why ninja shield is justified being more than twice the strength of a regular war shield, and about 1.5x stronger than a war with LB on, when they aren't even a job that goes in first and is supposed to take many hits.
Be happy that NINs have the option to support someone with that shield if they ever felt like it.
I feel like whenever I see people talk about NIN being versatile, they don't think of the downsides of it, I.E the lock on being able to use abilities back to back. You notice it in every class that has a large versatile toolkit where they have a noticeable drawback to using their abilities. GNB/MCH while not directly comparable have similar mechanics of having a wide range of versatile abilities but having a limitation on using them. It would make sense to nerf the mudra skills if you didn't have a limitation, but since their is it would just make using the skill off putting and ruin the point of the job's design.
