Not necessarily. There are some examples of mammals with scales (armadillos and pangolins have two different approaches to it) and the rest of their body seems human-like, so there's no reason to be certain that scales mean they have reptilian traits.

Even if they do have "reptile scales", it's a surface layer over a mostly human base.

The people responding apparently have nothing better to do with their life than responding to said post. If you think it's a bad post, why are you giving it fuel to grow? You're literally just giving the thread more sunlight by bumping it every time you respond.
