7.0 Animations

Im glad a lot of users feel like the death animations need work. They are probably some of the worst in the industry.

Another one I just thought of is being able to go to bed/log off from your house and wake up from it like in the inns.

Male elezen run animation could use an update because it's quite wacky, but perhaps it's a charm point that male elezen players enjoy. For me it's a bit of a distraction lol.

Male Elezen has an awkward bow but I feel it is so charming for some reason... the last second of the animation has them awkwardly rise their head almost like they are proud of what they did.


Overall I do agree with more varied death/fainting animations, at least could have how you faint against a magical attack or a thrusting physical attack etc

I do not enjoy our animations, especially our running animations. I wish they would give us an animation bundle based on attitude. That would help give us a more personalized version of each race to each player.

When they add it back in, you know we're getting Isekai'd to another world again.

I just hope they stop adding bigger and bigger particle effects to every single attack skill.

EW was the first expansion I have hard to limit party skill effects because even in an 8 man there was way to much glowing shit at all times around the boss when the devs also want you to look at the boss for a tell for mechanics.

I once ran the Mothercrystal trial and all four DPS were summoners. I legitimately could not see a damn thing the entire time and had to drop after the first wipe because my eyes were in severe pain. Granted, I'm glare sensitive, so the bright blue-white battlefield isn't great for me in the first place, but damn.

Hyur Princess Run please.

Things I'd like to see improved would be:
Handover animations with real objects not just invisible something.
Death animation (which was brought up already). Just funny when there is characters dying and they all fall the same way like what?
Mounting up animations similar to gw2's. I know its a lot of mounts already but still would be cool.
Give us more interactions between characters, actual touching hands and stuff like that. Similar to cutscenes from ShB and EW. Not everything is possible I know, but my hopes are high.
