with cutscene skipping, you wont believe how quickly you can get a job in levels with msq exp, you do realize they significantly buffed up msq exp right? Roulettes are there to keep a lot of old content at least some sense of relevancy and is a nice source to get easy rewards. I personally like it and I only do whatever roulettes that tickle my fancy in the day.
Trusts are gimped because they're not suppose to be an easy replacement for players to level up content with. If they were just as good as them, why would we ever need real people to run content? Use your brain please.
Reason why Fates dont give huge chunks of exp is once again, allow more options for leveling to be feasible. It's also used as a good means to pass the time while you wait on queues for roulettes, which even then you still can easily finish off levels with fates regardless (which is what I do) and they have their own appealing separate rewards with bicolor gemstones (just waiting on SE to add this system to ARR, HW and SB zones)
There's also PotD,HnH, Bozja and like I mentioned running high level dungeons. Trust me as someone who played alts and just blazed through the msq with cutscene skipping (and without the server exp bonus buff), you easily become overleveled for the story content which funny enough is a complaint Ive seen with people here about you fast you level a single job solely on the msq. NG+ is only there purely for just the experience of going through the story again or going through notable questlines, it shouldnt have some extra reward incentive for it.
You sir are the one who lacks any understanding of how these systems work.
