Why would you download a program to enable vsync? Why not just enable it in your driver settings?

Just a note for anyone curious: I did find a way to enable it in the NVIDIA Control Panel. It should be under Manage 3D settings.
1) Triple monitor display sucks, i dont understand the appeal, yay bezel bars running down my image looks so cool and realistic!Quote:
1) Will we be able to play the game with "Triple Monitor Display"? (I think 'Evefinity' run's it now?)
2) Can we play the game in 3D?
3) Can the new engine allow a display of Over 60fps?
2) Probably not, 3D is a lame gimmick and some people can't even see it anyway
3) The old engine could too, but this is what was melting people's video cards. That's why it's capped- to prevent hardware damage.
With transparency on? If you are on the "basic" scheme, it doesn't use 3D acceleration and is not forcing vsync.
You could try forcing it here then:

Make sure you are adding the game.exe and do not mess with the other settings (leave as global default)
1. Some people like it, why shouldn't they be able to play it that way?
2. Some people like 3D, and support for it isn't hard to do. Most people can see it, so the fact that some don't doesn't matter.
3. Unless there are serious driver bugs, no video card would melt regardless of how high a framerate you have. Video cards can usually handle temperatures around 100 C anyway. THere is no real difference between the temperature output of my video card if I turn up my graphical settings so that I have 100% GPU load while getting 40 FPS or if I'm having 100% load and getting 80 FPS.
