Just finished my first two runs of the dungeon and I have to say I'm enjoying it so far, though the bosses are a rather drawn-out affair for something you're supposed to run multiple times.
Still, I'm intrigued by the idea of piecing a mystery together over multiple runs, and it's certainly the first time I've had reason to consult my lorebook to solve a dungeon puzzle! (I'm sure there was an in-game clue to look for as well, and/or I'm going to take all the paths sooner or later, but whatever. I have the nerdy solution route and I'm not afraid to use it!)
And really, I've missed the feeling of fighting bosses alone and figuring out how to dodge things. I know it's not that different to some other solo content here, but it feels different somehow. Puts me more in the mind of playing Zelda or something.
The surrounding setup seems a bit convoluted though – it seems like we could have just gone straight to visit Nanamo in her chambers instead of fussing about with assistants and disguises and having secret conversations in the middle of the street.
And rewards are totally underwhelming, especially if you don't like the one "noir" coat and hat and don't want yet another pair of short plain gloves, plain belted trousers and lace-up shoes. It's really getting excessive at the moment with those, and it looks like we're about to get another lot for All Saints' Wake on top of this, the Enforcer set half-a-patch ago and the Appointed set before that. And the Frontier and Varsity men's outfits not long before. Glamour gear is supposed to be about giving us variety.
The decoration style seen in the Sil'dihn palace ruins looks lovely, and it feels like a huge missed opportunity to not give us something themed after that. Or at absolute least sell some other gear repeated from elsewhere and not just the one glamour set.
(There's also an earring and the emote, but I can't ever see earrings in combination with my character's hairstyle, and haven't tried the emote yet. Still very limited excitement compared to new glamour or better access to other ones.)
Run it solo. It's pretty straightforward – Rampart for shield and Cure for regen will get you through. Might be slower per run (I haven't compared, plus had learning curve) but it's going to save you time overall.
