Well, I do. Community Finder is RIDDLED with pedo/loli RP and, I quote "What are you doing, step-bro?" of the Incest variety in particular linkshells.

The issue is what does Square specifically define as spam? Is it the same person writing the same message over and over again in a short period of time? Can multiple people writing the same message be considered spam? Can multiple people writing somewhat similar PF ads but not the exact same considered spam?
I'm not saying you're wrong because it's really annoying to have to dig through 4 pages of ads to look for groups for actual content, but if they don't recognize it as spam then its something that's ultimately gonna have to just be dealt with. You can move Shout to a different tab in your chat if you want to just have it out of sight but not outright remove it.
As far as the brothels go, it's already in the ToS that private ERP is allowed as long as both parties consent and are in their own non-public space. I remember a while ago that there was a lot of drama because of a GM banning roleplayers (even those that had nothing to do with nightclubs) via their PF ads so I kinda wonder if they decided to just back off moderating those for now since advertising sex services was a big deal before.
Personally I think the RP crowd should get their own advertising board in game, separate from the PF. Would solve a lot of problems for people who don't want to see that and would give RPers a real spot to put their ads instead of the "Other" section.
How is me calmly voicing my frustrations in an area where SE is more likely to see it than reddit anything but acting like an adult. The night clubs are clogging both shout chat and party finder with their obnoxious ads and its actively become a detriment to the play experience.
How is it a detriment to the play experience? Block shout chat and dont look in 'other' in PF. Look only in the section of what you are looking for. Its not that hard. You are making a mountain out of a mole hill.
Just because its not one to you, doesn't mean it isn't to others. Instead of questioning it, accept that multiple viewpoints exist and find a compromise that suits everyone involved. Telling someone to cut off a chat that is useful for other purposes (such as hunt train calls) isn't a solution.
A separate PF for just roleplayers would be though. Those that want to do content can use the normal PF while RPers can have another that is tailored to them (which has actually been asked for before) and those that actually want to RP can use it. That would be a fair compromise I would think.
I use shout chat for in game events, Hunt Trains, requests for rez in Bozja, and chatting with a few people in city states. I also like to actually Roleplay so I'd use the Other section of PF to find RP venues originally, before it got flooded by Nightclub ads, or, if I post an RP ad for my FC, it gets buried under the Nightclub Ad Spam. I am not making a mountain here, I am legitimately frustrated.
