Excessive amount of lv50/60 synced content is dragging down the skill level?

For what it's worth, this just hasn't been my experience. I typically do Leveling, 50/60/70/80, Raid, and Alliance roulettes. Leveling is entirely a mixed bag, and if there was one level range I think I see more frequently than others, it's probably 71-79 (Holminster Switch and Malika's Well, specifically). 50/60/70/80 does probably trend toward the 50/60, but I believe (correct me if I'm wrong) there's also simply more dungeons at both of these levels compared to 70/80. If I'm thinking correctly at that, it would naturally make sense that they come up more often. There doesn't, however, seem to be any one particular dungeon that I feel pops more often than the rest. Raid roulette is entirely a mixed bag, and when I'm on a 90 class, most frequently tends to be a 90 raid. Alliance is also likewise a mixed bag. I've heard all the stories about CT raids showing up so often, but it just hasn't been my experience.

I don't see the premise of this being true. Every once in a blue moon someone might complain in FC chat about a particular DF group that became a slog, but it isn't frequent at all. And aside from that I don't see it anywhere else except these forums, where it's really just the same select group of people whining ad nauseum about everything.

What skill is required in normal raids and roulettes even at 90? You just show up and you win even if you play like an absolute candy man. Enrage and perma death has been removed long ago so there is no longer any penalty for failing or being bad anymore unless you manage to wipe. Skill issue doesn't really come into it when there is no reason for a lot of people to even bother trying. This is not something new with level 90, it's been going on for a long time now.

Most people that play this game play it casually and simply do not care about optimal rotations or gameplay, it is also not up to you to call out if these people are bad or lazy at the game or question their gameplay, just keep your head down and focus on your own gameplay. Unless you are doing actual endgame content who cares about skill. Let them get on with it. If you think it's a slog or holding you back you can just leave and let someone else join in your place.

If they brought back enrage or perma deaths again then maybe I could see a point to the complaint, but Yoshi is determined to make the core game as brain dead easy now as possible so he can reach more players. From the financial standpoint it makes absolute sense, why throw free money away? It is what it is, and personally I don't think it's that big of a deal.

I suspect you and the OP need to know you can change a setting in Duty Finder to limit the range of the duties you are stuck into. typically leveling will be no more than 8 levels under the lowest level in the group you queue with.

He can also queue for expert roulette or make his own roulette by tagging 5 level 90 duties and see what pops.

That hasn't remotely been my experience on Aether. Just tonight I had Suzaku, Copied Factory and Malikah's. I saw a 50 dungeon for the first time in ages in the 50+ roulette the other day. I get a lot of Stormblood era things in that. Leveling I get a wide spectrum. I get Nier more often than not in Alliance so much that I wish there was a way to de-unlock it. I haven't seen a 50 trial in ages either. I see Lakshmi a whole lot. Aether folks also tend to do their WTs and often that's why we get pulled into random things. Someone usually mentions it.

If you want to run higher level content just sign up for higher level content. Am I missing something here? When I am running Alliance roulette I purposly strip naked so I guarantee a level 50 one. If the xp the higher level 24 man content gave was worth it then I wouldn't need to do it, but if I am getting practically the same amount of xp for over double the time then why would I waste my time. ARR 24 man raids and Void Ark are done in 15 minutes. In and out. The other ones can take upwards of 30+ minutes and you get consideribly less xp than you would if you just ran the Main Scenario roulette.

If I want to run the later ones, I'll just manually sign up for them. Currently the rewards are not worth the time investment when doing roulettes, and most people are doing roulettes for the rewards not the gameplay experience.

I’d love to sign up for those later alliance raids, but losers like you forcing crystal tower to proc starve the roulette of participants for the other raids

Here a fun suggestion, if you wanna drag other people through boring content because you are lazy then play a single player game

Granted I believe that majority of difficulties in this game wanes the more you do certain content, maybe a small part of it does contribute to it. But imho it’s still largely due to:
• Said player simply don’t care about improving.
• Game rarely punishes failure; or if it does, it’s often brushed off either because your party carries you or the game gives you another means to faceroll the said punishment (Very Easy Mode)
