Seriously? For such cases they should implement a reliable queue inclusive a timer how long a transfer will propably take. They have it already for login queues and party finder queues. They are not a small indie company, the game runs for years and they are still surprised, that the players try to use a new shiny feature? OMG.

The Issue will fade once the Novelty wears off in a day or two. they're not going to lift a finger for a self-fixing problem or you can ask the community to stop DDoSing the system.

I blame the Balmungieons, haha. But seriously, it's not surprising at all; people have been itching for this for some time now- i'm sure the system just needs more fine-tuning and perhaps a way for players to not overload the system with queue requests

Subscriptions have been the same price for over a 20 years for mmos.

Netflix prices have gone up. Everything else has gone up. Inflation is a thing. You are technically paying less right now to play than anyone who started at launch.

I mean I'm not defending them in any way or form. I'm just saying, I feel like there's a good chance they knew this would happen and that they feel like it's going to fix itself on its own.

It's not right, but this is their usual mode of operation sadly.

I wouldn't have thought so many people would be eager to use it the moment it went online.

Like, sure it's nice that it's available now and you can go see your friends on other data centres, but I wouldn't think that necessarily means that EVERYONE wants to go see their friends RIGHT NOW when it's a permanent feature. It's not like game content where there's something new and different to see.
