What? just... what? The junk you get from killing mobs alone (a ls mate accurately described opo opos as exploding into fruit when you kill them) would get you enough gil just by npcing them. Marmot pelts npc for 500ish gil each, and there's all sorts of random junk you get from mobs that npc for decent amounts.

Gil is hardly something difficult to make in this game, even as a new player. Not even close. I can farm around 180k an hour reliably, and i'm sure there's other ways of making gil that are even better than what i do.

It would be too easy to get around by spending all your gil on items and then reselling them. DCUO tried it during the money dupes, and it failed. Eventually they had to ban about 1/3 of their players.

So yeah, I agree, terrible idea.

Yoshi-P's main thing when he started was that each character is a reflection of self, something hugely important to each player. And that they'd never, ever be deleted and players wouldn't be forced to reroll. So honestly, I don't really see that happening...

they can craft their own gear. and expensive materials? they can farm them up just as easily. Unless they are lazy then thats their fault.

solution is if you want a fresh start, make another character is that so hard?

SE already said no to a wipe.

all these bullshit entitlement things on the forum are crazy. because they dont have as much as a person who plays they game alot they think they should have the same for doing nothing and they want to restrict other peoples hard work like have people kill off there character.

They don't even have to anymore. After the leve revisions they now actually give you quite decent gear (either as a reward or in chests during the actual leve) not to mention decent amounts of gil that you can spend at your local guild to buy the (much reduced in price) standard gear.

Thats a wipe buddy, an adjustment would be "every new player starts out with 1 million gil."
