I don't think job comp would matter to much if you actually had a Team V Team setup. The reason why a lot of jobs seem weaker than they actually are is because you can't magically convince 4 other players to understand the synergy potential with your role, so you are stuck hoping that the team you are engaged with will follow kill order or at least have some semblance of focus when it comes to focusing down a target. It's dreadful to be in a round where it feels like they are just hitting the closest target or a call out goes unanswered but sadly that's the current "Meta" for pvp.
I glanced over at a Twitch Streamer yesterday playing in the Crystal league and it just brought about this sad reality that there honestly is no difference in player skill from Bronze to Plat, they just got lucky on the coin flip which is how the content currently feels. You don't have much control over winning because you have to rely that the other 4 players are on the same page as you. I just found it funny how even in the Crystal League there are still players who just attack at random or don't use call signs, it just seems like anyone that did go up in the ladder during the first season was based on pure luck.
Yes, on point post Airget, i do call outs full LB BLM rotation and my party sometimes doesn't take advantage, but fact is in competitive pvp every dps needs to have kill potential. Right now some jobs you can ignore and the meta jobs can stomp. If this is blanked its would make this a lot better. This is no risk for a SAM to bully a weaker job or a RDM. Pro tip best thing to do in those situations is take them away from group for as long as possible, don't let them kill you but if can take them away from front for 10-30 secs its huge help to team!
