I'm assuming saving 4 glares to use afflatus abilities per minute will probably make enough of a difference.

WHM also still has the most issue recovering mp during death. we are going into the new ultimate and I am concerned over WHM not keeping up in terms of healing considering their mp was not really helped at level 90. We still lose our lilies when we die. We still only have two thin air stacks that frankly suck and we still only have lucid. If WHM dies and lucid is down they are basically helpless for 20 seconds.
Very happy with the Lily/Misery changes. Now I won’t feel bad for using them++
WHM is very unforgiving as the only starting healer and these changes really don't do much to fix this. If Blood Lilies and Afflatus Misery are going to be so important, they need to consider giving them to us at a lower level.
Wait. Ain't these an oversight?

Something that I do note is that yes lillies are neutral now and as such it might present an option for salt mage players to use them insted of 1200mp casting 3 glares
only paladins dont need healing anymore either because they just got a shit ton of sustain. Why couldn't drk get that sustain the poor job needs it.
Oh and we might not need to heal the drk's anymore out of living dead.
Yes, you can freely use lilies as long as you have not completed charging Misery, or you can ignore lilies and overcap if you don't need them for movement or healing. The loss now would be if you had Misery ready but used a lily heal instead; or you did not enter the 2min party burst window with a Misery charge ready. Whether you use your lilies or let them overcap does not matter as long as you avoid those two things.
I get where you guys are coming from, and yes these changes don't "fix" healers but short of more fundamental reworks, which we were not going to get in this patch I don't think anything will. Yeah there are a few things that are missing like combining some of ast's buttons that really shouldn't be separate but we got a lot of good fixes for what they are and I think credit should be give where credit is due. I stand by what I said and frankly, if we aren't willing give credit where credit is due when SE gives us changes that we want, why should they listen to us at all. At least that's how I see it.
