I feel bad too, I was very excited about the hrothgar hairstyles, but really, they want to sell us, these hairs, except the Snow's and the reaper's trainer ones, the others are rubbish, they look like wigs (really?, the Nier hairstyles O.o? what are they thinking about they are awfull) more than hairstyles and taking off our ears in exchange... what will be next, taking off our tails in exchange for having something else? I prefer to wait longer (which in itself we have waited a loooong time since they were announced in 5.3 or 5.4) than for them to come out like this

I expected nothing and was not disappointed. The hrothgar wig hour was pretty funny though.

It felt like someone internally knew this looked bad and decided to have a giggle with the gpose.

I sincerely hope these are an April fools joke. I'm typically not this harsh, but I'm getting fed up with Hrothgar/Viera treatment.

1. They removed our ears! These are one of our defining characteristics in our race and appearance. This would be like removing the ears from the Miqo'te or Viera or scales/horns for Au'Ra.

2. These styles look like hot garbage on our race, even if they added our ears in. They look as if they were intentionally made to look like awful trash.

Praying to god this is an April fools joke...but knowing SE's history I'm not confident...
