All of which can be circumvented but it is annoying and griefing none-the-less. It's a terrible system on multiple levels that cannot be gone fast enough.

Once again as I said in my edit if they want to open a few wards as READY-TO-BUY-NO-TIMERS and they can absolutely guarantee there will be no queue issues that's fine. I'll support that. I will not support asking people to risk their health for a crummy system that's basically a lottery anyway except you have to waste time on it instead of entering and moving on.

But first come first serve is not the unhealthy clicking you’re talking about. They aren’t doing that anymore at all. First come first serve doesn’t require hours of clicking unhealthily at a placard. It means you get a chance when the patch drops of Ishgard’s new plots, just like with all the other new ward releases from previous patches. And that’s all we’re asking for - some of the new wards in the new Ishgard district to be FCFS, and then all the other plots will be lottery. No clicking for hours in either case.

Heyo! Yes if they want to release it in that way first, with an absolute guarantee we're not going to play the 2002 game again, I'm fine with it as long as all houses afterwards become lottery system only including the houses people might be leaving to move to Ishgard. I realize the servers will be congested that day, but opening a free-run housing will make them a lot worse unless they have some analytics somewhere proving otherwise. I'm on a congested server already and I'm not interested in playing the error game again. However my understanding is that, aside from the possibility of opening them like that first, with no timers, the FCFS system would continue to function as it is now with the first player to click at the correct server time getting the house. Otherwise that will just rekindle the black market that has MOSTLY been eliminated. I have not seen them guarantee lottery for all abandoned/demolished lots. They've been promising a mixed system, which I firmly oppose. I have also not seen them guarantee that a FCFS scenario for the new Ishgard releases will be a true timer-free experience, though I would hope so. I am a little wary they will attempt to make it "fair" by utilizing random timers.

I've been very clear and repeated myself multiple times that I would support it if they don't use timers and don't bog down the login servers with errors.

There just needs to be more houses in general. Prob less than 2% of people who want a house actually have one. I refuse to spam click a sign for 24 hours when I have a 1/50 chance to get it.

It's not like we've had the same privileges as existing datacentres and it's disgusting to think you cannot even provide equal service to all subscribers, and happy to charge in Euro to boot.

Upgrade your f****ng infrastructure. It's not like you don't have the financial resources now with the volume of monthly income.
Either make Island Sanctuaries private instanced housing, or modify Inn rooms to be a multi floor apartment and small house decoration capacity, with a with static external view. ie. Limsa Harbour, Tree's of Gridania, city and desert background of Ul'dah.

There should be some that are FCFS. It doesn't have to be a lot of wards. We've seen the rush when servers go up for housing and yes some could lose out there. But then they could utilize the lottery system if FCFS didn't get them what they wanted.

You can't bot a ward-launch FCFS, so this does literally nothing against bots and only hurts the active players who don't want to play the luck game and the small FCs that are getting railroaded by the 'larger FCs get an advantage' lottery. They want no less fair of a chance, just a different game than lottery's game of pure luck.

If you wanted to stop the bots, you'd disable FCFS *after* launches, not before. Just a very backwards way to think about it.

I don't even care about the house.... I just want a garden the price for onions are ridiculous it would set me back 9 mil to buy enough to level to 20 on 2 chars.

I have an fc on my server that constantly advertises in pf that they have 22 fc houses when recruiting......

Agreed, all fresh plots should be first come first serve and all relocations should be lottery.
